Merger Information

Due to significant changes in funding provision that we were relying on to deliver the proposed single site, Moatfield Surgery will not be merging with Judges Close surgery. Sadly, without the significant premises development needed to deliver a site that is fit for purpose able to cater for a large, merged Practice, many of the benefits we have described in our business plans and public consultations would not be realised.

After very careful consideration, we are unable to justify the even greater challenges and pressures on our already limited and stretched resources that merging, without the any of the benefits of a single site, would demand.

Both practices will continue to work together to provide a high standard of care for patients and we remain committed to continue to look at new ways of providing  high quality and  flexible services.

We are immensely grateful for the support that our patients have given us towards this project and at both public meetings. We are looking forward to continuing to develop and enhance what we offer and to continue to work closely with our local Practices.

Practice Management

Sally Burfoot

The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Surgery. She will be happy to help you with any problems or queries you may have concerning the Practice. She is supported by clerical, administrative and secretarial staff who are always ready to help you. Our Receptionists have a difficult job to do, particularly as the Surgery is very busy, with many telephone calls and queries to deal with. So please be a patient patient! If you feel you need to make a formal complaint, please enquire at Reception and you will be informed of the procedure to follow. We also welcome comments and suggestions – there is a red collection box available.
