Merger Information

Due to significant changes in funding provision that we were relying on to deliver the proposed single site, Moatfield Surgery will not be merging with Judges Close surgery. Sadly, without the significant premises development needed to deliver a site that is fit for purpose able to cater for a large, merged Practice, many of the benefits we have described in our business plans and public consultations would not be realised.

After very careful consideration, we are unable to justify the even greater challenges and pressures on our already limited and stretched resources that merging, without the any of the benefits of a single site, would demand.

Both practices will continue to work together to provide a high standard of care for patients and we remain committed to continue to look at new ways of providing  high quality and  flexible services.

We are immensely grateful for the support that our patients have given us towards this project and at both public meetings. We are looking forward to continuing to develop and enhance what we offer and to continue to work closely with our local Practices.

Friends of Judges Close

This is a Patient Participation Group.  The Practice enjoys a good relationship with this volunteer group and aims to facilitate its operation as much as possible. Whilst we have benefited enormously from the group’s generosity, with funds raised used to purchase equipment and toys etc for the Surgery, we also view the group’s existence as a channel for two-way communication between the Practice and the patients, for mutual benefit.

If you are interested in joining our group please contact the Chairman Paul Saffery via email

Virtual Patient Group

This is a virtual group of patients who wish to participate in communication between the Practice and patients without having to attend meetings. If you wish to join this group, please contact the Chairman Paul Saffery via email
