Home Visits

If you are too unwell to get to the surgery it is possible to organise a home visit. However, there are better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery and so, if at all possible we would recommend you make every effort to come to the surgery.

If a home visit is necessary for medical reasons please try to make the request as early as possible, giving the Receptionist your name, address, telephone number, age and brief details of your illness, in order for the Doctor to determine priorities.

Our Receptionists are trained and bound by the same rules of confidentiality as are the Doctors and Nurses. In some cases the Doctor will telephone before visiting.
